Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a variety of techniques are applied, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.

• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients, sharing insights and strategies to improve treatment outcomes.

• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, safeguarding client confidentiality while enabling efficient treatment planning.

• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health research and therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve servicing clients who may have limited access to mental health care, including children, adolescents, and families dealing with issues such as trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Much of your work will focus on empowering clients to navigate their emotional landscapes and achieve meaningful change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.

• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, dependent on experience and caseload availability.
