Construction Accounting & Contracts Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Accounting & Contracts Coordinator to support our financial operations, subcontractor onboarding, and project payment workflows. This role is critical to maintaining healthy project cash flow, ensuring subcontractor compliance, and supporting leadership with financial reporting cleanup and organization. Key Responsibilities Coordinate subcontractor invoice intake and processing Track payment status and respond to subcontractor payment inquiries Align subcontractor payment schedules with client billing schedules Maintain compliance records for all active subcontractors Review Purchase Orders and Subcontractor Agreements for payment structure alignment Provide prompt responses to subcontractor questions and field payment status calls Assist leadership with organizing and reconciling approximately 18 months of financial records Qualifications 2–5+ years of construction accounting, project coordination, or subcontractor administration experience Experience supporting AP/AR functions in a construction environment Familiarity with subcontractor agreements and compliance documentation Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with QuickBooks or construction accounting systems preferred What Success Looks Like in This Role (First 90 Days) Bring subcontractor onboarding documentation into a consistent system Improve response times to subcontractor payment inquiries Align subcontractor payment structures with client billing schedules Help leadership regain visibility into outstanding financial records #J-18808-Ljbffr TruthTally
