Personal Lines Account Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused professional to support personal insurance accounts and deliver a positive experience for policyholders. In this role, you will manage day-to-day account servicing, assist with policy changes and renewals, and work closely with clients and carrier partners to help ensure coverage needs are handled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for personal lines clients and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Review coverage needs, assist with policy updates, and support the preparation of quotes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure account documentation is organized and up to date.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain information, resolve issues, and support policy processing.
• Explain policy details, billing information, and coverage options in a clear and client-friendly way.
• Follow up on outstanding items to keep accounts moving smoothly through the service process.
• Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and support retention efforts.
• Coordinate with internal team members to support efficient account servicing and problem resolution.
• Stay informed on personal lines products, carrier guidelines, and applicable industry practices.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in personal lines insurance, account management, client service, or a related role preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Comfort working with insurance systems, agency management platforms, or similar software.
• Ability to interpret policy information and explain coverage concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing responsive and high-quality service.
