Position Requirements Education/Experience: 2-3 Year’s experience in sales analysis, Modular Analysis, and Inventory Replenishment 4 year college degree preferred Advanced knowledge of Power Point, Excel, and Word Analytical ability to translate complex data into concise business issues/opportunities Self-Motivated individual with the ability to sustain a consistent High Level of service across all relevant departments. Skills/Knowledge/Ability: Expertise in Retailers business systems and procedures Advanced knowledge Windows PowerPoint, Excel, and Word programs. Analytical ability to translate complex data into concise business issues/opportunities Self-Motivated individual with the ability to sustain a consistent high level of service across all relevant departments. Good organizational skills - Good understanding of retailer Ability to forecast based on current or historical POS trends Detail oriented Authority: Reports to VP of Sales for Retailer (Target, Wal-Mart, TRU) Key Result Areas and Activities Item Analysis Communicate with recommendations to retailer for improving low instock percentages and/or lower inventory items at store level Review replenishment order trends and weekly fill rates and determine they match rate of sale Work with Inventory Management to identify Item availability issues Calculate accurate items forecast and compare to retailers internal forecast (make ordering system recommendations where needed) Communicate to Account manager of any issues found from the above Ensure a strong innovation pipeline that meets consumer needs. Develop and launch new opportunities to profitably grow the business Maintain MGA Internal item-level forecast ladders. Reporting Analyze MGA Shipping Forecasts vs. Retailer Actual POS. Analyze weekly forecast with POS trend and make recommendations to retailers supply/replenishment team as needed Retail & Internal Forecasting Identify polices by items with low in stocks and/or low on hands Create system recommendations where needed to improve instocks – get with retailers supply/replenishment team for best action needed Identify TV launches and submit system recommendations Track implemented systems policies that were submitted and approved. Identify order increases, and in stock/On Hand improvements, as well as increased sales. Pull Forecast Portal weekly and compare retailer’s orders to MGA forecast. Make sure forecasts are in line with trend; upcoming features are forecasted, etc. Create new trends indicators (finelines) and recommend correct Seasonal Profiles Continue developing expertise in retailer’s forecasting system Suggesting and writing manual orders as needed Relations Foster a good/productive working relationship with corresponding retailers Supply/Replenishment managers and communicate with them on a weekly basis. Work closely with LA Sales Administration to ensure proper execution of orders processing. Work closely with LA Supply Chain to communicate forecast adjustments and current demands.
