Strategic BD Coordinator - Proposals & Growth

Description Hunden PartnersAnalyst, Business Development Chicago, IL (Onsite, 5 days a week) Hunden Partners is growing and we’re looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join our team! This role is key to supporting the firm’s growth through proposal development, client communications, and the creation of high-quality business development materials. You’ll collaborate closely with senior team members to develop proposals, presentations, and qualifications packages that reflect the quality and expertise Hunden is known for. As a Business Development Coordinator, you’ll help manage proposal efforts from start to finish, maintain key business development resources, coordinate deadlines and materials, and support client and industry engagement. This position is perfect for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, enjoys collaborating with others, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities and deadlines are always moving. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 Dependent on experience Bonus: Based on personal and Firm performance Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision insurance; 401(k) with match; paid leave What You’ll Do Draft, finalize, and produce materials for proposals, bids, interview presentations, conference and speaking engagements, and qualifications packages Maintain and update key personnel resumes, biographies, and qualifications lists for use in proposals and presentations Collaborate with the SVP of Business Development and Strategic Growth to ensure all proposal assets are current, accurate, and aligned with Hunden’s standards Interact with existing and potential clients through email, in-person meetings, and video conferences, ensuring clear and effective communication Notate and summarize minutes and key points from proposal/lead calls, pre-bid meetings, interviews, and project kickoff meetings Organize notes, proposals, and other assets using CRM and project management tools, including monday.com and OneDrive Ensure proposals and deliverables meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Represent Hunden Partners at industry conferences, trade shows, and events throughout the year and participate in project kickoff site visits as needed. This will require comfort with overnight travel and ability to travel by air and ground as needed, with advance notice typically provided but not guaranteed Continuously seek ways to improve proposal development processes and support overall development efforts Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 2-3 years of experience in proposal development, marketing, or a related field, preferably in professional services or consulting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Familiarity with CRM and project management tools such as monday.com and OneDrive Experience with design tools such as Adobe InDesign and Acrobat preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines Why Hunden Partners?
