1st Shift Grind and Repack Operator

• Location: Carol Stream, IL
• Shift: 1st Shift
• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Grind and Repack Operator is responsible for safely operating grinding and micronization equipment to process raw ingredients, as well as accurately repacking them into designated commercial packaging. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, precision in weight measurement, and absolute adherence to quality control and sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate milling and grinding machinery to process raw ingredients according to strict formulation guidelines.
• Repack raw and finished powder materials from large bulk containers into smaller bags, boxes, or drums.
• Weigh, measure, and verify product counts to ensure exact batch parameters.
• Attach proper labeling, barcodes, and tracking identification markers to all finished pallets and materials.
• Perform comprehensive sanitation and washdowns of equipment between batches to prevent cross-contamination.
• Adhere to all Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and food safety compliance regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with moderate airborne powder substances (appropriate PPE, such as masks/respirators, hairnets, and scrubs, will be provided).
• Strong basic math and reading skills to accurately follow batch sheets.
