Oncology Discovery Scientist Intern

Johnson & Johnson seeks oncology discovery science interns for a 12-week summer program (May-August 2027) in Spring House, Pennsylvania. Interns will conduct experimental research on novel therapeutics under mentorship, gain exposure to drug development processes, and present findings at a company-wide symposium.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments under mentor guidance with senior discovery team members
- Collect, record, and interpret research data with written and oral reporting
- Participate in departmental meetings, cross-functional teams, and Bench to Bedside lectures
- Prepare abstract and poster presentation for annual global research symposium
- Learn technology platforms including ELISA, PCR, flow cytometry, and computational approaches
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate (minimum 4 completed semesters) or graduate student
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher across all coursework
- Degree in biology, cell/molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, or computational biology
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Not graduating before, during, or immediately after internship period
- Self-motivated with passion for drug development and cancer research
