Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Overview In a manner consistent and supportive of our values, the Provider is responsible for delivering high-quality health care within Fast Pace Health's scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must work in a team-oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting, respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response, and provide outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, while maintaining a compassionate and welcome atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined. Lead clinic staff in behavior, actions and attitude (e.g., X‑Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) to deliver excellent patient care; provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Perform responsibilities as outlined in the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Actively engage with clinical leadership, elevate concerns to management where appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns. Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined. Ensure accurate, timely completion of patient charts and forward charts appropriately on a daily basis; build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and Supervising Physicians. Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliable accuracy. Ensure activities are compliant with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA and all health information management issues. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Prioritize telehealth patient queue to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications responsibly, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising physicians and E/M training. Operate within standard NP/PA protocols. Complete mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality of care standards. Adhere to Core Values: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Recommend ideas within clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve overall patient experience and care. Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on day one in the clinic and facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of processes. Assist new employees with learning activities and required training. Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities for new employee training. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Maintain friendly and cordial relations with clients and employees, fostering a positive work atmosphere. Perform the physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified. Comply with Company standards of operations. Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality for employees, employers, and business. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician. Perform other duties assigned by management. PRN Employees must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; Full‑time employees work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Ancillary Providers Responsibilities Responsible for on‑call periods throughout the year. Experience Levels Level1: New‑grad nurse practitioner or physician assistant with up to 1 year of experience. Level2: Nurse practitioner or physician assistant with over 1 year but less than 5 years of experience. Level3: Nurse practitioner or physician assistant with over 5 years but less than 10 years of experience. Level4: Nurse practitioner or physician assistant with over 10 years of experience. Experience Requirements and Preferences Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS). Experience: At least 1‑2 years as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent‑care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, or family medical practice (strong preference). Current License or Certification License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with regulatory agencies. DEA required for all providers; may be required within 120 days of meeting minimum practice years for state law. Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements; DOT certification required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and maintained.
