Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and create personalized treatment plans.
• Employ physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment objectives, discharge planning, and home rehabilitation exercises.
• Record evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with both facility standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to care team discussions and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure unified care approaches.

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not essential.

Skills

• Prior experience in the field is highly preferred.
