Description: What We're Doing Join the Mission Planner System Engineering team with Lockheed Martin in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The Work The system engineer in this position will work across several Aegis programs with responsibilities in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Integrated Air Missile Defense (IAMD) tasking for the Mission Planner. The system engineer will help design and develop models and algorithms in support of BMD and IAMD missions. Additional tasking and responsibilities will include analyzing and assessing mission capabilities and solutions. You will have responsibility for algorithmic design, data analysis, requirements development, modeling and simulation. This will entail developing solutions to mathematical and physics-based problems in the area of mission planning for IAMD scenarios. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week The base range for this position in New Jersey is $75000 - $135,961.
