A manufacturing company in Columbus is hiring Assembly team members to support production operations in a fast-paced environment. This position involves assembling hydraulic cylinder components, operating equipment, inspecting materials and ensuring products meet quality standards. Training is available for motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble hydraulic cylinder components according to specifications
• Operate hydraulic presses, manual lathes and oil-test bench equipment
• Read CAD drawings, job orders, operator manuals and work instructions
• Inspect, debur, and stack production materials
• Verify measurements and product conformance using calipers, squares, tape measures and other gauges
• Maintain accurate time logs for completed work
• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Basic math skills required
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to safely use tools and equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds occasionally
• Frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds
• Ability to stand and work throughout the shift
