About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Pastry Baker to join our family-owned bakery.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cookies, pies, and other baked goods.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure quality and consistency.
- Decorate pastries with attention to detail for an appealing presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to adhere to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and customer demands.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a pastry baker or similar role in a bakery or pastry shop preferred.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decoration skills a plus.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious pastries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
