Accounting & Administrative Assistant

We’re hiring our next team member — is it you? Syblon Reid is looking for an Accounting & Administrative Assistant to join our Folsom team. This role is an important part of the support structure behind our work. The Accounting & Administrative Assistant works closely with Accounting, Estimating, and Operations to help keep invoices, approvals, vendor records, bid support, documentation, and office operations moving accurately and efficiently. We are a professional, hardworking team — but we are also a close group that values connection, teamwork, and people who are willing to jump in and help. In this role, you will support work such as: Processing vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and accounts payable transactions Managing invoice approval workflows and communicating with project managers and department leaders Preparing check runs, ACH payments, and vendor payments Reconciling vendor statements and researching discrepancies Maintaining vendor records, including W-9s, credit applications, and 1099 information Assisting with corporate credit card administration, expense reporting, and account reconciliations Supporting subcontract, work order, and purchase contract invoice processing Assisting Estimating with bid packages, bid submissions, bid bond requests, and required documentation Maintaining project records, bid history, and reference materials Providing backup reception coverage and general office support Assisting with special projects and administrative support across departments You may be a strong fit if you have 3-5 years of accounts payable, accounting support, or related administrative support experience , along with strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage competing deadlines. This position will require use of your vehicle for work purposes. A clean driving record and reliable transportation is necessary. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate dependability, accuracy that others can count on, strong follow-through, and a serious appreciation for organization.
