Contracts Administrator

Assisting in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects. Reviews, comments, logs and tracks a variety of contract and legal documents. Negotiates terms as necessary to help mitigate risk. Tracks subcontracts for status. Processes purchase orders and change orders. Maintains electronic and hard copy filing systems. Drafts and administrates subcontracts to listed subcontractors post-award on Prime Contracts. Orders and issues Certificates of Insurance. Orders and tracks surety bonds. Recognizes unique requirements, characteristics, and issues based on project/owner specifications. Maintains contract information in accordance with organizational policy and procedures. Ensures that Organizations are following compliance with the legal requirements and owner specifications. Works closely with operations as well as senior management to minimize corporate risk. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 5-7 years’ contracts experience in the construction industry. Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft software such as Word and Excel. High Volume environment experience. Knowledge of legal requirements with contracts. Demonstrates flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines through analytical problem solving. Proven time management and follow-through skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines. Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment. Display superior written and oral communication skills and effective listening skills. Maintain a tactful, mature and professional demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse personnel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
