Key Responsibilities
- Menu Planning: Develop and execute innovative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and customer favorites.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering and proper stock management to minimize waste.
- Food Preparation: Ensure high standards in food preparation and presentation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Event Hosting: Organize and host wine and bourbon dinners, enhancing the dining experience through expert pairings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant setting, preferably in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for menu creation.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
