PRIMARY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Financial / Month-End Close: Prepare month-end close checklists to establish an accountable timeline, monitor progress and

address risks to the timeline through escalation to management as necessary. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliation

in accordance with US GAAP. Reconcile and confirm agreement of intercompany due to / from accounts. Research and resolve

discrepancies. Support all account reconciliation with documentation.

▪ Financial Reporting and Analysis: Ensure proper cut-offs to prepare preliminary financial statements and analysis for review

with management. Perform consolidation, elimination and translation for foreign entities. Prepare financial statements

package in accordance with US GAAP including analysis. Also, prepare budget vs actual reporting and analysis at a consolidated,

cost center and sub cost center levels.

▪ GL Maintenance: Maintain chart of accounts including creation of new GL accounts as necessary. All new GL accounts must be

properly approved prior to creation, tracked and mapped for financial reporting. Review treatment of accounting transactions

for compliance to US GAAP. Research and interpret technical guidance as necessary to report financial statements in accordance

to US GAAP. Technical guidance is to be reviewed and applied with management approval. Liaise and engage with internal team

members, cross functional teams and external accounting firm as necessary in consultation with management to achieve

department objectives.

▪ Year-End Audit: Key team member in the successful completion of the annual financial year end audit in accordance with US

GAAP and department objectives. Responsibilities include coordination with accounting teams and ensuring timely and accurate

completion of audit requests. In addition, responsible for completion of internal control narratives and relevant memos to

support technical accounting guidance analysis. Responsible for liaising and engaging with accounting firm and management to

fulfill all PBC requirements and final audited financial statements.

▪ Financial Planning / Budgeting: Assist with the annual budgeting process by preparing spend schedules, overhead budget and

consolidation. In addition, support budget mapping, import to system and validation.

▪ Departmental Quality and Business Objectives: Participate in achieving targeted departmental quality objectives. Assist in

streamlining processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Assist in completing department business objectives according to

established timeline.

▪ Special Projects or ad-hoc requests as assigned.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Compliance with the requirements of the company Business Management System (BMS). Participate in corrective action, process improvement, and special project activities. Assist in writing departmental procedures, work instructions and process mapping.

▪ Ensure that the professional image of the company and customers is maintained at all times. Ensure dealings with customers, Field

Resources, suppliers, and other company employees and associates are conducted in accordance with the highest standards of

integrity. Accord courteous, impartial and equitable treatment to all.

JOB SPECIFICATION and QUALIFICATIONS

▪ Bachelor of Science in Accounting from an Accredited University

▪ 5+ years of relevant and proven general accounting experience (preferably a mix of public accounting and private industry experience)

▪ Strong knowledge and application of accounting principles (US GAAP)

▪ Proficient computer skills (Intermediate or above Excel skills, Word, Outlook, Power Point)

▪ Relevant Accounting Software (MS Dynamics AX or D365 preferred)

▪ Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management

▪ Self-motivated and driven; works independently and in a team setting; organized and detail oriented; tenacious, responsible, and accountable
