Audit Senior Associate

Job Responsibilities Supervise, plan, and perform audits, reviews, compilations, and various client engagements. Lead a team of up to five staff members under the supervision of a Manager and/or Partner. Prepare and review workpapers, ensuring clarity, completeness, and accuracy. Exercise professional skepticism and evaluate audit evidence critically. Analyze financial statement data and draw logical conclusions. Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters. Identify, assess, and document controls and weaknesses in client accounting systems. Develop an understanding of client businesses related to assigned assurance areas. Apply the rules, regulations, and code of ethics of the AICPA, including FASB pronouncements and applicable state regulations. Understand and comply with the Firm’s quality‑control policy. Communicate effectively with engagement team members and client personnel in a professional, productive, and efficient manner. Provide timely feedback on staff workpapers and aid in their development. Maintain informational updates to Managers and/or Partners regarding job status and assurance issues. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting in audit or assurance. Experience supervising audit staff professionals. Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
