Electro‑Mechanical Technician – Responsibilities Assemble parts into sub‑assemblies, units or systems for heavy‑duty and high‑voltage Integrated Power Node Centers (IPNCs) electronic product. Use drawings, final assembly blueprints, and verbal and written instructions to troubleshoot and rework assembled units that fail standard tests. Perform tests and inspections of heavy‑duty and high‑voltage IPNCs electronic product using equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, frequency generators, multi‑meters and other test instruments. Complete and maintain all required documentation and records accurately and in a timely manner. Assist engineering personnel in troubleshooting, modifying and repairing non‑conforming units. Perform calibration, in‑line inspection and final inspection of units/assemblies. Maintain all test production equipment and fixtures, including soldering capability. Diagnose equipment and process issues and develop positive solutions. Provide support for test equipment supplied by the transition group. Adhere to company policies, including general workmanship, FOD control and documentation. Cover operational working hours (including early swing, night shift or fixed hours) and work overtime as required by the business. Follow production processes, procedures, schedules and record standards using business IT systems (ERP/MRP/MES). Qualifications Associate degree in an electronics field or equivalent military training (required). Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electro‑mechanical or electronic test environment. Ability to read blueprints, troubleshoot from schematics and assist in writing test procedures. Proficiency in the use of test, inspection and calibration equipment. Hands‑on manufacturing / shop‑floor experience. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.). Proven ability to initiate and execute change in mature processes. Mechanically inclined with understanding of production fabrication and assembly. Deep firsthand knowledge of manufacturing operations and solid troubleshooting skills to support production and quality. Experience with soldering (J‑STD‑001 & IPC‑A‑610 preferred), wiring, harnesses and IPNCs electronic product. Successful completion of testing procedures and a physical dexterity assessment during interview. Benefits Comprehensive medical insurance.
