About the Role We're looking for a dedicated Facility Mechanic to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our engineering team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

- Monitor Work Order system, complete work orders, responds to trouble calls and provides resolution
- Follows department Safety policies including the Lockout/ Tagout procedures.
- Performs Preventive maintenance work orders/ room and door inspections; completes required documentation.
- Repairs wheelchairs, stretchers, hospital beds, tables, chairs and other equipment as needed.
- Performs regular equipment rounds and logs results
- Responds to hospital emergencies such as fire drills, internal disaster, snow storms, etc.
- Reports to supervisor on a regular basis regarding the performance of equipment and service activities.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years' experience in Engineering or Maintenance in a Healthcare Facility
- Must possess a current New York State driver's license in accordance with the Saratoga Hospital driving policy
