Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including in-depth physical examinations and comprehensive review of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical cases through careful analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide invaluable support in the operating room, from preparing surgical spaces to ensuring optimal patient positioning and passing instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, preparing discharge plans, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgery are highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
