Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and in-depth medical history assessments

• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing the surgical environment, managing patient positioning, and passing essential instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, patient education, and discharge planning

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory
• Eligibility for state licensure as a Physician Assistant
