This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor and assess patient health and medical needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment options. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in patient assessments and provide ongoing patient support. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. Experience in a telemetry unit or progressive care unit (PCU) is preferred. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS is required. Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system is required. Ability to float to sister units as needed. Willingness to work every other weekend. Patient Population The patient population includes those with various diagnoses such as: Cardiac conditions Respiratory issues COVID-19 Infectious diseases Pre and post-operative care Endocrine disorders CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) Work Schedule This position is for night shifts, requiring 4 shifts per week (12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00). A block schedule is not utilized. Additional Information Float requirements: Yes, may float to corresponding sister units. Local candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
