A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist seeking part-time work in an elementary school setting near Schaumburg, IL. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a flexible environment and enjoy supporting young learners. You’ll work with elementary students at a single school, providing essential occupational therapy services for the fall semester, with potential to extend into the spring.
Position Highlights:
- Part-time schedule: 2 days a week with flexible days and hours
- Focused caseload of elementary-aged students at one school location
- Short-term contract for the fall semester, with an option to extend
- Weekly payment every Friday
- Supportive work environment and school staff
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license from the State of Illinois
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to adapt and collaborate with teachers and other support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for students
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services to meet IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with school requirements
- Work collaboratively with educators and families to facilitate student success
- Contribute to IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary teams
