Trust and Estate Tax Manager/Director – Offices in Shelton, Hamden, Bethel, Ridgefield & Norwalk, CTThe Innovative CPA Group is looking for a Trust and Estate Tax Manager/Director to join our CPA firm. The Innovative CPA Group is an employee-centric firm comprised of experienced tax and accounting professionals. This role has Partnership track potential.Essential Responsibilities:Manage, prepare, and review complex estate, trust, and gift tax returnsPerform tax and accounting research with the aid of research tools and communicate with partners and/or clientsUnderstand complex estate and trust administration, including probate filings, probate accountings, and reviewing federal and state estate tax returnsDraft and review responses to tax notices from various federal and state tax agenciesWhat You'll Bring:7+ years of experience with estate and trust administrationBachelor 's or Master's Degree in Accounting or relevant field requiredCPA license is a plusExperience with CCH programs is a plusKnowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Programs, etc.Professional and effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilitiesStrong leadership skills with the ability to work well within a team environmentIntegrity, accountability, and confidentialityExcellent analytical, organizational skills, and attention to detailPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative spiritWhat You'll Love About Us:Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.401(k) plan with employer match.Paid health insurance for Employees with dependent/spouse coverage at employee cost.4 weeks of vacationOnsite gym membership (Shelton location)Great work environmentFlexible work hoursOpportunity for hybrid scheduleBusiness casual attire
