Social Media Project Manager

Pay: $55-59/ hour DOE Client Overview: Our client is a globally recognized luxury retail organization.
Role Overview: The Social Media Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of organic and paid social media initiatives from concept through launch. This role partners with Creative, Social Strategy, Production, Marketing, and Communications teams to manage project timelines, streamline workflows, facilitate approvals, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality social campaigns.
Social Media Project Manager Responsibilities: • Manage project intake and develop timelines for paid and organic social media campaigns.
• Coordinate end-to-end execution of social-first campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule.
• Partner with creative leadership to prioritize workloads and align resources across multiple initiatives.
• Lead project kickoffs by confirming creative briefs, assets, and requirements are complete before production begins.
• Oversee review and approval processes while communicating feedback and resolving stakeholder alignment issues.
• Collaborate with marketing, brand, and production teams to ensure campaign milestones and deliverables are achieved.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep initiatives on track.
• Maintain detailed project schedules, status reports, and master trackers for active campaigns.
• Support continuous process improvements by collaborating with project management leadership and cross-functional teams.
Social Media Project Manager Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience supporting social media, marketing, advertising, or creative teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with creative, marketing, production, and brand management teams.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, and creative production workflows.
• Experience managing budgets and project financials is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve project challenges.
