Our new, modern facility has been built for success and is looking for a Finance Assistant.Job Responsibilities Include:Audit deal paperwork for accuracy and ensure all parts have been completed (signatures, Verify VIN, etc).Assemble, review, and submit funding packages per lender requirements.Compile reports on all money due from deals, including but not limited to: bank, funding, deposits, rebates, sales proceeds, etc.Report vehicle sales to manufacturers; verify and submit manufacturer rebates; post and reconcile rebate and service contract statements and schedules.Prepare title work for sold vehicles, ensuring accuracy of name, address, lien information, taxes etc.Prepare daily sales report for new and used vehicle sales.Review and reconcile end-of-month statistics on vehicle sales and sold contracts.Communicate with Sales management and department regarding sales transactions.Understand how to calculate taxes on deals (what is and not taxable).Maintain confidentiality of customer information, dealership policies, procedures, privacy, and compliance laws.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Availability to work some evenings and Saturdays2+years automotive dealership experience preferredAccounting knowledge preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work independently and within a teamDetail orientatedFollows through to complete all tasksMaintain a professional appearance and neat workspaceStrong communication and people skills- both written and verbal.
