Senior Accounting Manger

Accounting Manager Consultant South Bay, CA | Hybrid (3 days onsite) Duration: 4+ Months with Potential to Extend or Convert Our client, a growing and dynamic organization in the South Bay, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager or Senior Accounting Manager Consultant to provide immediate support to their accounting team. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys owning critical accounting processes, driving operational improvements, and partnering with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead key month‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and financial reporting reviews. Oversee Accounts Payable, employee expenses, and corporate card programs while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. Manage cash operations, including cash forecasting, treasury activities, payment processing, and banking relationships Partner with the leadership team and external tax providers to support financial reporting, compliance, and business decision‑making. Drive process improvements, system implementations, automation initiatives, and other special projects to enhance accounting operations. Qualifications 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience at the Accounting Manager or Senior Accounting Manager level. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, month‑end close, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting. Hands one experience in NetSuite and recent public company experience is highly preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
