Salary: $180,000

• $260,000 per year A bit about us: Founded over a decade ago and based in El Segundo, we are a business law firm serving companies, business owners, and families throughout Los Angeles and the South Bay.

Our litigation team handles a wide range of business disputes, from contract and partnership fights to noncompete, employment, and IP matters.

Many of our clients are owners or family members in the middle of complicated, high stakes conflicts, so the work calls for real strategy and creativity rather than a one size fits all playbook.

We believe in focused, efficient work during the day instead of late nights and weekends as the norm.

Outside of the casework, you'll find regular firm events, vendor hosted lunches, and community service projects throughout the year.

Competitive Compensation: Up to $260K+ base salary (DOE) + Bonuses Quarterly and Annual Bonuses: Earn up to $30,000 in annual bonuses plus quarterly bonuses of up to $12,500, and you can qualify for both Origination Upside: 10% referral commission on any work you bring in that's billed and collected, paid quarterly 401(k) with Generous Match: 100% match on the first 3% and 50% on the next 2% Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, with the firm covering 75% of the base HMO plan Flexible PTO & 9 Paid Holidays Collaborative Work Environment: Each attorney is paired with a dedicated paralegal and an overseeing partner, so you're never working in a silo Work Life Balance: Annual billable requirement of just 1,500 hours Fully Remote or Hybrid out of El Segundo, with free parking Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Manage a caseload of 20 to 30 business litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft complaints, motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents Take and defend depositions Attend court appearances, hearings, and mediations Conduct legal research, manage discovery, and build litigation strategy Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed on strategy, risk, and next steps Work closely with your overseeing partner and dedicated paralegal to keep cases moving Handle a broad mix of business disputes, including contract and purchase or sale disputes, breach of contract, partnership disputes, noncompete agreements, employment claims, negligence torts, IP infringement, antitrust, aviation disputes, bad faith, and class actions Maintain an annual billable hour requirement of 1,500 Qualifications Active California Bar license in good standing Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience Experience taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, and handling mediations Comfort appearing in court independently Proven ability to manage cases from start to finish with minimal hand holding Strong client communication skills, especially with business owners and families in contentious disputes Proficiency with Westlaw, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Interested in hearing more?
