Operations Supervisor

JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for the management of shipping and receiving (logistics) and customer service (e.g., order fulfillment, distribution and receivables) operations within the Company’s distribution center. This role supports cross-functional activities, including sales, marketing, finance and quality control. Oversees and supports the customer service and logistics coordination functions to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment and distribution processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Manage and oversee customer acceptance, accurate order processing and fulfillment, returns and invoice approval. Provide direct support and backup for day-to-day Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator responsibilities, including order processing and phone coverage. Ensure appropriate support for the Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance with the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives and applicable procedures. Support accounts receivable collection through systemic email reminders and follow up collection calls, if necessary Manage inventory shipping and receiving, including periodic physical inventory counts to maintain accurate records Maintain effective operational and financial controls to ensure accurate and timely records Ensure compliance with policies and standard operating procedures Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy Collaborate with other departments and third parties as it relates to operational processes Identify and address problems and opportunities for the Company Build alliances and partnerships with other team members

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience in a supervisory position for 2+ years. Proven ability to grasp new ideas, concept and procedures Strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills Strong interpersonal and team skills Strong Mac and software skills, in particular Microsoft Office ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: NetSuite and Salesforce experience, or similar Strong written and verbal communication Ability to analyze issues quickly and make decisions. Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure in dealing with difficult situations Excellent phone presence and presentation

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Body Positions: Regularly required sitting, standing, and walking for pro-longed periods of time. Body Movements: Full range of body movements including the use of hands and fingers, to handle or feel objects, including computer equipment and peripherals, and bending, reaching, lifting, and crouching.

Analytical: Must be able to synthesize complex or diverse information. Must possess logical and deductive reasoning skills. Problem Solving: Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather, prepare and analyze complex information and reports. Communication Skills: Must be able to read and write well to communicate effectively with all persons concerned or related to the business.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work may include extended periods of time viewing a computer monitor and/or operating a keyboard.
