Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing top-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and history taking.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Monitor and record vital signs and patient responses to treatments.Triage patients based on the severity of their conditions.Provide education and support to patients and their families.Shift DetailsNight shifts available – three 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).Weekends required with varying scheduled days based on staffing needs.Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays.Options for 36 or 48 hours per week are available.QualificationsMust possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; submissions with a pending VA license are acceptable.Certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required (TNCC may be pending upon submission but must be obtained prior to starting).Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least 1 year in a Level 1 Trauma Center or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma Center, including pediatric experience.Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-stress environment.Time OffA maximum of 40 hours may be approved for time off requests.Join us in delivering exceptional care to our patients in the Emergency Department.
