Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/HR
Duties:
- Prepare work for assembly by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists.
- Gather and organize parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials needed for production.
- Assemble mechanical components and finished products according to engineering and quality standards.
- Inspect parts and components to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
- Verify product specifications by performing measurements and quality checks on completed assemblies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, making adjustments as needed to meet specifications.
- Communicate production or material concerns to supervisors and team members.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment and report malfunctions or repair needs.
- Maintain inventory of assembly supplies and assist with stocking and material replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- 1-5 years of mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions, assembly procedures, and production documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience using measuring tools to verify dimensions and product accuracy.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform complex assembly tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to complete work accurately, efficiently, and with minimal defects or rework.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the workday.
