Required: 1 year of office related experience Status: Full Time Facility: Mease Countryside Life Management Behavioral Health Office Representative Responsibilities Obtains and updates patient information Schedules patient appointments and assists with patient inquiries; may arrange for additional services Collects and posts payments, and assists with patient billing questions Ensures completion of all encounter documentation prior to check out Accepts transfers from other facilities according to established guidelines. Schedules patients with appropriate provider, answers phones and responds within time frames defined by departmental guidelines. Obtains complete and accurate patient registration information according to department standards. Reviews and confirms all registration information is accurate at each appointment and makes any required updates. Consistently reviews cancellation, displaced patients, and appointment requests worklist throughout the day. Reviews daily schedules for availability and coordinates with onsite supervisor to ensure providers' schedules are at capacity.
