Responsibilities SandyPines is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Account Rep. Qualifications The Patient Accounts Representative assists the Business Office Director in the billing and collections for the facility and in assuring prompt payment of accounts. Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required with at least three years previous experience working in a collection position or in a doctor’s office or hospital business office. Medical billing experience is required. Knowledge and Skills: Detail oriented and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills. Excellent customer service and organization skills. Highly effective listening skills. Physical Requirements: Continuous verbal and written communication, hearing ordinary conversation. Occasionally hearing high pitched or low-pitched sounds. Continuous firm/simple grasping and fine manipulating of both hands.
