Physician Assistant - Dermatology

Job Description

We are seeking a Dermatology Physician Assistant for an engaging 120-day locum tenens assignment in New York, commencing Oct 5, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive dermatology coverage with 8-hour shifts and flexible scheduling, including general dermatology, laser, cosmetic skincare, and skin cancer screenings, with potential float support to another clinic.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive dermatology coverage, with potential float support to the Dermatology clinic.
• Manage a full range of dermatological cases, including laser treatments, cosmetic skincare, skin cancer screenings, and treatment of both medical and aesthetic conditions.
• Conduct minor surgeries if experienced and desired.
• Manage patient volumes typically between 25-35 per day, with support staff (LPN, RN, MA) provided for every 12 patients.
• Collaborate with a full dermatology team, including a dermatology physician and licensed esthetician.
