Electrical Project Manager

Description The position of Assistant Project Manager for our National Tech Systems team will be traveling to support several jobsites across the US. This person can be based in areas outside of the Regional corporate office. This position is responsible for providing a high level of coordination support in a variety of areas, partnering with construction project management and field staff. Assistwithmanagingall aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes. AssistwithsupervisionanddirectingprojectactivitiesasassignedbythePMincludingplanning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc. Assistwiththemaintenanceofallchangeorder,submittalanddocumentcontrollogswithinViewpoint. AssistPMandPXwithinteractionswithsubcontractorstomakecertainthatwe have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals. ResponsibleforcreatingtheJobInformationSheetsandestablishingjobfiles under the direction of the PM or PX. AssumetemporarytotalprojectsupervisionresponsibilitiesintheabsenceofthePM. Abletoreadandbasicunderstandingofelectricaldrawingsandspecifications. Assistwithestablishingworkflowbreakdownsinconjunction with Field Supervisors and Project Managers. Assistwithensuringprojectbillingsareaccurateandsubmittedtimely, monthly, and per contract documents. ResponsibleforassistinginwritingandsubmissionofqualityRFIs. ResponsibleforassistingPMtoensuretimelypaymenttosubcontractorsandvendors. Abletoreviewandupdatestatusofconstructionschedulesasperrequestof PM or PX. AbletoassistProjectManagementteamwiththesetupofprojectbudgetsin Viewpoint in conjunction with Field Supervisor. WorkwithPayrolldepartmenttoensureaccuratePayroll information has been submitted. Otherdutiesasassigned.
