Work Environment

The position is based in an outpatient office setting, which offers a collaborative environment with a team of skilled professionals. Our office operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for new patients, analyzing their medical history and current physical conditions to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Create actionable and personalized treatment plans that address individual patient goals, promoting improved mobility and reducing pain.
• Instruct and empower patients and their families in performing therapeutic exercises and daily activities that facilitate their recovery process.
• Carefully document patient progress, including any changes in their condition, modifying treatment approaches as necessary and communicating updates with colleagues.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for each patient.
• Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety guidelines, including infection control measures, to maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Educate patients on self-care strategies and preventive measures to decrease the risk of injury recurrence or exacerbation.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions and treatments in compliance with regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with outpatient clients, ranging from post-operative rehabilitations to pain management for chronic conditions. Our diverse patient population includes athletes seeking to enhance performance, seniors recovering from injuries, and individuals managing ongoing health challenges. Each treatment plan is tailored to fit the unique goals and circumstances of the patient, ensuring a holistic approach to their health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited program.
• A current and valid physical therapy license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, dry needling, or Kinesio taping.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and data management.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges between $110,000 and $125,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and experience.
