Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant

IDR is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will serve as a true techno-functional partner, combining hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development with strong stakeholder collaboration to deliver automated, omni-channel customer journeys. Youll join a large, enterprise-style environment within the financial services space, supporting Agile delivery from requirements through build, QA, and launch.

Position Overview for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant

• Build and maintain automated, omni-channel customer journeys using Journey Builder and supporting tools
• Develop and optimize Email, SMS, and Mobile Push campaigns, including workflow configuration and execution
• Partner with business, marketing, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories
• Perform troubleshooting, QA, and ongoing enhancements for SFMC automations, journeys, and data-driven campaigns
• Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies and manage work through Jira while balancing multiple priorities

Requirements for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant :

• 69+ years of Salesforce/marketing technology experience with deep, hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud expertise
• Strong experience building omni-channel customer journeys in Journey Builder and automations in Automation Studio
• Proficiency with SQL and scripting for SFMC solutions (AMPscript and SSJS)
• Experience with API integrations and testing tools (e.g., Postman) to support end-to-end campaign and data workflows
• At least one Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification and the ability to work onsite 24 days per week in a hybrid environment
