- Process TechnicianOPTIMIZED LOGISTICS LLC - DALLAS, TX 75212## Description**Job Summary:** A Process Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Responsible for ensuring that the approved process design and standards for Plastics Manufacturing are implemented and sustained.**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**1. Process Monitoring: * Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure they are running efficiently and meeting quality standards. These include injection molding, vibratory welding cell and extrusion line. * Conduct regular inspections and checks to identify deviations from established parameters and take corrective actions.2. Quality Assurance: * Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications. * Collaborate with quality control teams to implement corrective actions and improvements.3. Process Optimization: * Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to implement validated process changes. * Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.4. Training and Development: * Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices. * Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge. * Share expertise with colleagues and contribute to the development of the team.5. OL Employee Training and Development * Conduct assessment to identify training needs and skills gap with OL employees. * Collaborate with shift supervisors to understand specific team or individual training requirements. * Conduct training sessions for employees, utilizing effective and engaging instructional methods. * Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up-to date.6. Data Analysis: * Partner with manufacturing and process engineers to collect and analyze process data to identify trends and areas for improvement. * Generate reports detailing process performance and provide recommendations for optimization.7. Safety Compliance: * Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. * Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.8. Equipment Maintenance: * Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality. * Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and address equipment malfunctions promptly.## Qualifications**Job Qualifications:*** AAS degree or related job experience, in a technical discipline; mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred.* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States* Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.* Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications.* Strong multi-tasking skills. Completes several concurrent tasks in an efficient and accurate manner.**Competencies:*** Technical Proficiency:* Demonstrate a strong understanding of the technical aspects of manufacturing processes and equipment.* Possess in-depth knowledge of process control systems, instrumentation, and troubleshooting techniques.* Analytical Skills* Ability to analyze data and identify trends to optimize processes.* Strong problem-solving skills to address equipment malfunctions and process deviations effectively.* Attention to Detail:* Exhibit a high level of attention to detail in monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes.* Recognize and address even minor deviations from established parameters.* **Judgement** - Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.* **Problem Solving** - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.* **Safety and Security** - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.* **Strategic Thinking** - Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; Understands organization's strengths & weaknesses; Analyzes market and competition; Identifies external threats and opportunities; Adapts strategy to changing conditions.* **Technical Skills** - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.
