Process Engineering TechnicianYou deserve a job you love!Volt is immediately hiring for Process Engineering Technicians in Richardson, Texas.Process Engineering Technician, you will:Support engineering builds, DOE trials, and prototype assembly lots in a semiconductor manufacturing environmentProgram and operate assembly equipment, including mold, grind, saw, laser, and coating toolsTroubleshoot equipment and process issues and drive timely resolutionPerform preventative maintenance, changeovers, and basic equipment maintenance to ensure tools remain production-readyCollect process data and support root cause analysis and yield improvement activitiesDocument issues, process updates, and changes through logs, work instructions, and shift pass-downsProvide technical support and training to operators and production personnelIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle timesThis is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a similar high-tech environmentStrong hands-on troubleshooting skills and the ability to work directly on equipment to resolve issues in real timeStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environmentExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred experience includes:Semiconductor assembly processes such as die attach, wire bond, molding, singulation, wafer thinning/saw, die pick, and related processesPrototype, NPI (New Product Introduction), or high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environmentsBasic understanding of SPC, DOE, root cause analysis, and yield improvement methodologiesWork Environment:Cleanroom environment requiring ESD protection and PPEShift work and extended hours may be required to support prototype and customer demandHands-on work with manufacturing equipment in a semiconductor assembly settingSalary: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Since this is a Direct Hire opportunity, all benefits will be provided by the client.
