Job Title: Light Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Technician

Job Description

This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to light mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring work is done to exact specifications and close tolerances. The position requires using fixtures as well as simple hand and power tools. Additionally, the role includes assigned remanufacturing operations such as disassembly, minor repairs, sorting, cleaning, and inspection of small dispensing units and major subassemblies.

Responsibilities

• Perform light mechanical and electrical equipment tasks according to exact specifications.
• Work with close tolerances using fixtures and simple hand and power tools.
• Engage in remanufacturing operations including disassembly, minor repairs, sorting, cleaning, and inspection of small dispensing units and major subassemblies.

Essential Skills

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic math ability.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Basic computer, mechanical, or plumbing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to interpret color coding for basic wiring.
• Ability to distinguish between various metals for sorting.

This is a Contract position based out of Roscoe, IL.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Roscoe,IL.
