Peco Foods Inc. Microbiology Lab AssistantPeco Foods Inc. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Lab Assistant for our Microbiology Lab to support sample preparation and laboratory operations.This is a part-time position working 20-25 hours each week. The work schedule will be day shift Friday through Sunday.Minimum Qualifications:At least 1 year of college coursework with a strong emphasis in life sciences.Competent math and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelAttention to detailGood organizational skillsMust be able to follow written proceduresMust be able to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays.Must be able to work independentlyMust be able to work aloneMust be able to lift 50 lbsMust be able to stand for extended periods of timePreferred Qualifications:Associate's degree in Laboratory TechnologyExperience in basic laboratory proceduresExperience in chemical safety proceduresEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
