Medical Records Clerk
Location: Onsite, Louisville, TN
Pay: $15.00/hr
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to support administrative operations in a healthcare environment. This role performs clerical tasks while ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines and company procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, computer-savvy, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Sort mail, print, file, and pull records as needed.
- Retrieve medical records from electronic storage systems.
- Print claims from master printer files.
- Process claims according to state requirements.
- Maintain daily activity logs and accurate documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Perform additional clerical duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Available to work onsite .
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet productivity goals.
Preferred:
- Prior clerical, administrative, or medical records experience.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare documentation processes.
