Admissions Representative

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Admissions, the Admission's Representative's responsibility is representation of the College and to project the College's Mission of "Student Success" to prospective applicants and assisting qualified applicants through the enrollment process to achieve the Colleges new student enrollment goals.

It is the responsibility of this position to identify and evaluate students' goals, ensure enrollment metrics are met, and establish proper expectations for each student. Success in this position is met through exceeding planned lead-to-applicant, applicant-to-student, and student retention goals while maintaining effective, positive relationships with all students and P.I.T. personnel. This position will embrace the mission of "student success" and will maintain upmost professionalism.

Required and Preferred Educational and Experience Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field; consideration will be made for individuals with 3+ years relevant work experience. Strong customer service orientation, interpersonal skills, vision, creativity, and problem solving capabilities; a proven track record of achieving sales/business development goals. Professionalism and business acumen; self-motivation, self-confidence, tenacity, ability to accept rejection and move forward. Strong organizational abilities and project and time management skills to enable the accomplishment of many tasks on a concurrent basis. Excellent oral and written communications; ability to listen carefully with accurate interpretation. Proficiency with current edition of Microsoft Office Suite. Preference to: Knowledge and implementation of admissions procedures preferred; and experience responding to a high volume of leads. Proficiency with CampusNexus/Anthology. Prior experience working with a CRM.

Primary Responsibilities: Attend college events including (but not limited to) orientations, open houses, information sessions, and graduation ceremonies. Receive and follow-up on, incoming phone and electronic inquiries from prospective students and provide accurate enrollment information, such as, academic programs and the admissions and enrollment process. Meet, interview and tour prospective students and their families to evaluate interest and enroll qualified student into College's academic programs. Provide requisite follow-up throughout the enrollment process. Maintain accurate and complete student records. Mentor students from the application process through the first week of enrollment. Contribute to meeting individual and departmental enrollment goals. Work closely with the admissions team, financial aid office, academic departments, and other campus offices to ensure a seamless admissions process. Other duties as assigned.
