Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory assessmentsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols with precision.
• Evaluate results for their accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and manage routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and ensure proper sample preparation for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, contribute to training new staff or students, and support the maintenance of lab quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent degree in allied health that includes ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Retain your certification throughout your tenure.
