Oncology Development Executive (Outside Sales), Scranton PA

Labcorp seeks a field-based Oncology Development Executive for the Scranton, PA territory to drive new business acquisition and market growth across oncology practices, health systems, and cancer centers. The role focuses on expanding adoption of oncology diagnostics and precision medicine solutions through strategic account management and consultative sales.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across oncology practices, cancer centers, and health systems
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies to increase adoption of oncology diagnostics and precision medicine portfolio
- Establish relationships with physician leaders, pathology groups, and health system stakeholders for consultative sales engagement
- Represent Labcorp's oncology diagnostics, hereditary cancer, and molecular testing solutions to customers
- Coordinate cross-functional resources including sales, medical affairs, and operations to support growth initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
- 5 years business development experience selling precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, or complex laboratory solutions
- 3 years oncology-related commercial experience
- Demonstrated success in new business development, quota attainment, and competitive conversions
- Strong understanding of oncology care pathways, biomarker-driven testing, and precision medicine
- Ability to navigate complex healthcare organizations and multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Salesforce CRM experience and valid driver's license with clean driving record
