Loan Portfolio Specialist

Responsible for supporting the Portfolio Management Manager to manage and monitor legacy and portfolio loans for satisfactory performance including, but not limited to, ensuring the overall quality of the Bank’s lending portfolio and compliance of lending practices. Performs routine commercial loan servicing functions. Ensures compliance with established Company and Bank lending policies and procedures, and regulations which apply within the scope of the position, including Bank Secrecy Act. DUTIES Perform loan servicing duties not limited to loan payment processing, customer service, delinquency monitoring, and tax and insurance compliance. Monitor loan financial reporting covenant and tickler and clearing exceptions. Collect and review financial information, handle covenant testing, and prepare Annual Loan Review to evaluate and ensure the credit maintains its financial covenants. Providing support to the team where assistance is needed, acts as a backup for various loan servicing functions. Assist with quarterly and semi-annual audit-related performance. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 - 4 years of commercial servicing experience or related banking experience. SKILLS/ABILITIES PC Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with positive attitude. Ability to work within set timelines and independently in a fast paced, high production and team environment. Must be detailed-oriented with follow-through skills and able to multi-task.
