Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients using both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to meet specific short-term and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver personalized therapy interventions focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Work hand-in-hand with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to craft comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide educational resources for patients and families to bolster progress outside the clinical environment.
• Assist with sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout each patient's journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Stay updated on advancements in your field via continued education and peer collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if still in the process of obtaining ASHA certification.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
