This role is responsible for the achievement of sales, service, and operation goals for the Region Banking Centers, based on Webster's Strategic Guidelines. The position provides leadership support throughout a Region and may assume responsibility for the banking center in the Banking Center Manager's absence as needed. The colleague will work with existing clients and prospects to deepen the share of wallet and increase market share. The role also involves coaching and development of banking center staff and assisting with required operational tasks to help the banking center teams achieve or exceed audits. Colleague will develop and maintain strong partnerships with various business segments through collaboration and communication with the ability to supervise and coach others. Responsibilities Assist Banking Center Manager with achievement of banking center sales, customer service, P&L management, operations, and employee development. Assume responsibility for the banking center in the Manager’s absence and ensure exceptional client experience. Achieve/exceed individual sales, service, and operations targets. Process routine banking transactions accurately; prepare and compile client applications/information to open accounts. Build COIs by networking and prospecting to propagate the Webster brand and create value. Utilize lead management tools and resources (e.g., Salesforce) to document activities and support growth initiatives. Support segmentation strategy with existing clients by implementing sales, retention, and other bank initiatives to support the Banking Center’s growth and profitability objectives. Assist with the completion of required audits and adherence to operational standards. Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws as well as bank policies and procedures. Meet/exceed branch evaluation requirements. Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues to adhere to sales and service processes by modeling leadership behaviors. Adapt to changing business needs with scheduling and support for banking centers within a Region. Build strong relationships with banking center teams and foster collaborative partnerships with business lines. Qualifications Education: H.S. Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or degree preferred. Experience: 3–4 years of customer sales/service experience with 1–2 years of supervisory experience. Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and motivating is required. Skills: Working knowledge of all products and services; familiarity with systems used for branch transaction processing; strong customer service and teamwork abilities; ability to travel to various Banking Centers within the region. Compensation & Benefits The estimated salary range for this position is $24.00 to $30.00 USD hourly. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
