Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,426-$2,579 per week Guaranteed hours: 38 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10-hour days with rotating evening/night and weekend call Start date: 09/29/2026 Setting: Hospital operating room travel assignment Housing: Traveler housing options may be available near the assignment (furnished options with utilities) Responsibilities Provide intraoperative nursing care for patients during the perioperative period, safeguarding patient safety and comfort Collaborate with surgeons and the anesthesia team to prepare the sterile field, anticipate needs, and ensure proper instrument counts and specimen handling Monitor patient status continuously, documenting intraoperative events, and responding to changes in vital signs or conditions Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures Administer or assist with medications and interventions as directed by the circulating nurse and anesthesia team Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and regulatory standards; communicate effectively with the perioperative team to optimize patient outcomes Requirements CO RN License or Compact RN License in good standing BLS (American Heart Association) ACL S (American Heart Association) 3 years of related OR/perioperative experience Ability to work in a high-stakes operating room environment with rotating shifts and on-call requirements Demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique, perioperative safety, and documentation practices Benefits and Support Housing options may be available near the assignment, including furnished studio or small one-bedroom accommodations with utilities and Wi-Fi 38 guaranteed hours per week on a 13-week contract Travel assignment support and coordination through the staffing organization PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
