Job Overview A law firm seeks a Junior Attorney to join their team in New York, focusing on the defense of complex product liability matters, including environmental, asbestos, and talc cases, in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania State and Federal Courts. Responsibilities Take depositions, attend hearings, and mediations as required. Draft pleadings and briefs. Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients. Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis. Draft interrogatories and document demands. Review document collections in preparation for litigation. Submit filings to the court. Requirements Admission to practice in NY, NJ, and PA is required. Commercial litigation experience preferred. Asbestos/toxic tort experience preferred. Courtroom experience including motions preferred. Education J.D./LLM Certifications Admission to practice in NY, NJ, and PA Skills Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
